El Torreón de Cotilla, is a historic building in Ogijares, currently enabled as a home with an art gallery.~~This building is a dream, elegantly and exquisitely decorated. You have to visit it to appreciate its splendor.~~The building has 4 floors, decorated with all the luxury of detail typical of a special building.~~Ground floor: Entrance to the building, distribution hall, storage room, toilet and bar.~~First floor: Study with bathroom and balcony, living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and terrace.~~Second floor: Dining room, kitchen, living room, bathroom and two bedrooms.~~Third floor: Tower / viewpoint with views to the four sides of the building. It is enabled as a lounge.~~The Torreón de Cotilla building is identified as a tower to defend the city of Granada since it was located on the old path of fishermen who came from Motril to bring fish to Granada and was part of the watchtowers on the road between Granada and the Alpujarra. in the fifteenth century.~~It is named in historical documents from 1735 and was restored with great care, character and attention to all details and finishes by its current owners in the 90's.
