Pending construction of new giants of 105” and 130”, the British boatbuilder has delivered a very refined open model, both sleek and comfortable.
In the Princess dynasty, there are two distinct ranges : yachts with flybridges and open models. The V78 belongs to the second category, with a nuance regarding the “open” concept : if it once meant that the cockpit was completely open, it now offers a hardtop open to the rear and closed off by means of a glass window. This gives a larger outdoor area while providing shelter in case of bad weather. Treated to lavish care, this Princess has inherited the high-profile structure, timeless sobriety and sea-faring qualities of her predecessors. Her long V-shaped hull guarantees excellent stability at sea and surprises for her impeccable behaviour when negotiating bends. In the cockpit, visibility is excellent and manoeuvering easy ; on the dashboard, from a GPS-
plotter to large colour screens, nothing is missing ! As for relaxation, one notes two sun-loungers and a large bathing platform at the rear whose height is adjustable by means of an electro-hydaulic control. Each dining area (for up to eight guests) enjoys a panoramic view of the sea. The four cabins also accommodate the owners and their passengers under the best possible conditions : they enjoy spaciousness, storage space, elegance and comfort. The refinement of the decor lies in the choice of simple but noble materials. The wengé parquet floors, light oak (or cherry) furnishings, soft leather sofas, good-quality fabrics in shades of écru and beige all contribute to give a contemporary interior sprinkled with a well-proportioned touch of luxury !
