Thanks to its ingenious design, this yacht seems bigger than it really is, an impression chiefly explained by its open-plan layout. On both the main and fly decks, the various living areas are indicated solely by the furnishings. There are no separations, no dividing walls, no confinement, making the Canados 86 a fine example of modernity. Elegance too : its portholes have inherited appealing geometric forms, its bow offers a very dynamic profile with a sloping line, its decks are made of teak… And the designers of this superb yacht have deliberately placed the accent on life in the open air with spacious sunbathing areas, three “chaises longues”, a large corner sofa and a table comfortably seating several guests, a cockpit ideal for breakfasts, aperifits and even (weather permitting) dinner with friends. The interior accommodation offers a lounge, dining area, galley and four cabins with private bathrooms, and a comfortable crew area. The Canados 86 does not, however, simply content itself with being good-looking and pleasant to live in : it is also reliable and offers high performance, dealing easily with all types of sailing conditions. Its powerful engines attain a top speed of 33 knots and the quality of all its equipment is irreproachable.
