Inaugurated at the Spa By Sothys in the 5-star Hôtel Burgundy a short walk from Rue Saint Honoré, this new detox programme consists of a face and body ritual with fruity notes of lime and water-melon. This moment of pampering is followed by an infusion rich in antioxidants perfected by L’Infuseur Paris. After alternating a few lengths of the pool with the sauna and hammam, this regenerating day is prolonged by lunch at the bar Le Baudelaire, with an ultra-light menu concocted by star-rated chef, Guillaume Goupil. Designed by interior architect Stéphanie Coutas, the Hôtel Dress Code pays tribute to great French fashion designers. In place and stead of the former headquarters of French ready-to-wear, between Les Grands Magasins, the Saint Honoré and Opéra neighbourhoods, this hotel with 33 rooms offers a sophisticated, off-beat ambiance playing on the archetypes of French couture. In charge of the Ritz’s kitchens, Nicolas Sale intends to make the restaurant “Les Jardins de l’Espadon” and the Ritz Bar a breeding ground for young talents. Chef Alan Geaam from the gastronomic Alan Geaam Restaurant on Rue Laurisson in the 16th arrondissement will give demonstrations in the prestigious hotel from March 19th to 24th, and hold a 4-hour class on March 19th at the École Ritz Escoffier. 250 €. Now benefiting from a spa, a beautycare area and a sublime pool, the Hôtel de Crillon is giving a place of honour to cutting-edge treatment brands with many experts throughout the year offering shiatsu, holistic relaxation, facial yoga... Staged by the pair of interior architects Dorothée Delaye and Daphné Desjeux, the new Louvre Piemont hotel with 20 rooms on five floors offers a particularly chic atmosphere, a perfect balance between retro and modern styles. On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme on Rue de la Paix has launched a new brand called “5 rue de la Paix”, comprised of an exclusive fragrance and a wide array of silk scarves and ties. To mark the arrival of the Year of the Dog , the Péninsula has prepared a culinary and cultural experience paying tribute to the Chinese art of living. Clad in red for a full three weeks, the Lili restaurant in this palatial hotel on Avenue Kléber presents an exceptional menu comprised of eight dishes, while artistic performances will delight guests on the night of February 15th and throughout the day on February 16th. A really warm cocoon at the very heart of Paris, this ephemeral chalet awaits you in the gardens of the Hôtel du Collectionneur. A chic and elegant venue, it seats about 60 guests and proposes a menu specially created for the occasion by Chef Joël Veyssière. A pioneering brand in high-end organic cosmetics, Tata Harper has taken up its quarters at the Spa Le Bristol by La Prairie. In new premises entirely decorated in its colours, natural and botanic treatments are now available, including a gentle de-tox ritual for the body (350 €), and a global, biological package for the face and body (470 €). With an “urban chic” style designed by HB Architectes, this boutique-hotel boasts top-floor bedrooms enjoying panoramic views of the Sacré Cœur and the rooftops of Paris. Condé Nast Traveler has just unveiled its Gold List 2018 designating the best hotels and cruise lines in the world. The terrace at the Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris has taken on the air of a winter resort. For just a few weeks, the French garden at the heart of the Bristol is transformed into a forest of illuminated fir trees. Numerous enchanting attractions await its guests, such as a carriage ride through the Saint-Honoré neighbourhood, until January 7th, 2018. As for the Café Antonia, it will treat young and old alike to pastries and beverages based on chocolate, cinnamon and candied fruit. The impressive cobbled square (1,500 m2) at the hotel Les Jardins du Marais is dressing up in a thousand-and-one lights to host a Chocolate Bar offering visitors tempting treats they can savour on the spot, comfortably wrapped up in fur plaids beneath heating lamps. From November 27th to December 1st, the restaurant Le Relais Plaza invites guests to discover the cuisine of chef Montu Sainsi, who is none other than the chef of the President of the Republic of India, Ram Nath Kovind. The decor will feature colourful, symbolic touches, enlivening the Plaza Athénée’s Parisian spirit, while the menu will highlight typical dishes with spicy notes including lamb and fish curries, and refreshing yoghurt-based “lassis”. Chef David Bizet has just unveiled his Game menu at L’Orangerie. A passionate fan of nature and hunting, the Chef restores letters of nobility to this seasonal fare, sometimes forgotten on the menus of grand restaurants. Mallard duck, for example, is roasted with fig leaves, grouse is flavoured with roasted hazelnuts and praline, partridge is served with refreshing pomegranate juice, and hare “à la Royale” is presented in ultra-contemporary style. Fans of cigars are invited to become members of the Kléber cigar lounge, an intimate and elegant setting in the Peninsula Paris. This chain of casual-chic hotels-restaurants based in London has just inaugurated its first address in Paris, in an 18th-C. residence nestling at the heart of of the capital. Decorated by Humbert & Poyet, it offers an urban-design version of Parisian architecture : high ceilings, glass roof, cobbled courtyard...
