Already at the helm of the Pompette dining bar, Mathieu Grichois and Jordan Robinson extend their offerings at this very enticing address proclaiming its devotion to fried chicken. On the menu, farm-raised chicken from Les Landes and Bresse, marinaded in homemade butter milk, covered in spicy breadcrumb batter, then dispatched in burgers or accompanied by divine sauces made on the spot. Second time around for Bältis which, after conquering Le Marais last year, doubles down in the gourmet neighbourhood of Montorgueil ! All aboard for Lebanon with ice-creams with oriental flavours and ingredients sourced from organic agriculture. To celebrate this second address, two new flavours have appeared on the menu : an addictively smooth thyme/olive-oil ice-cream, and a sorbet with dried figs relished like candy. Yummy ! Part of the legendary Hôtel Montalembert, a real institution in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Montalembert brasserie has treated itself to a facelift under the direction of interior architect Pascal Allaman, who has reinstated all the splendour of this intimate setting. In shades of blue and green, it has been endowed with enveloping forms and unfurls several lounges including the Salon Gallimard which can be privatized. This season, on the legendary beach of Pampelonne, Bagatelle is celebrating its 10th anniversary. A festive address flaunting the joy of living, this summertime restaurant where chef Rocco Seminara proposes Mediterranean recipes comes with a beach club offering sun loungers, a swimming pool, “boulodrome” and boutique, all backed by a trendy musical backcloth. At the tip of Cap Martin, between Monaco and the Italian border, the beach of the 5-star Maybourne Hotel is installed on the rocks. Clients can arrive directly from the sea, mooring their boats at the wooden pontoon with skipper service provided. A restaurant and chic itinerant club where Asia meets up with Provence, Le TIGrr has taken up its summer quarters here.
