Villaret Immobilier, a third agency opening soon

Launched in 1996 by brothers Vincent and François-Régis Moussion, Villaret Immobilier, based in Le Marais, plans to open a new agency in April. Already active in the Bastille neighbourhood for the past 15 years, Villaret Immobilier will move into premises facing the Aligre market in a few weeks’ time, a bustling area drawing growing interest among Parisians. Interview…

Dedicated fans of contemporary art with a passion for beauty, Vincent and François-Régis Moussion have left their mark on Parisian real estate for over 20 years. This small family enterprise, currently comprised of two agencies and a branch under franchise in Saint Paul, is planning to extend its activities in April by opening a new agency in the 12th arrondissement. As Vincent Moussion explains : “This location opposite the Aligre market, the oldest in Paris, is a strategic choice corresponding to our real enthusiasm for this neighbourhood undergoing extensive development, increasingly acclaimed by Parisian buyers struggling to find apartments in the hyper-centre. Here you find a wide diversity of architecture with very elegant Haussmann apartments on the one hand, and on the other, especially around Faubourg Saint Antoine, former studios/workshops transformed into living accommodation. The price bracket in these neighbourhoods is 10,000-13,000 € per sq.m. Thanks to the arrival of new restaurants of quality and young designers’ boutiques, the landscape in the 12th arrondissement is seeing real change and looks a lot like Le Marais 20 years ago.” On the subject of the Parisian market, Vincent Moussion points out that : “Hyper-central arrondissements in Paris are congested, and properties for sale are becoming ever more rare. At the beginning of 2019, we continue to see firm prices and strong demand from buyers. They are prepared to pay high prices, but only for properties of quality. It is also worth noting the return of a considerable number of French ex-pats, due to Brexit”.
