Chalking up growing success, the pair of accomplices formed by Agnès Arribe and Véronique Dessauce, at the head of Millésime, presents a new kind of laid-back luxury.
In the past six years, Agnès Arribe and Véronique Dessauce have become well-known in the region, acquiring a loyal and demanding clientele in search of prestige properties. “So far, we have two agencies in Biarritz benefitting from prime locations which provide Millésime Immobilier and our expertise with wonderful showcases,” explains Agnès Arribe. “Véronique and I are still the only estate agents and we maintain relationships firmly based on trust with our clientele. After a year marked by a clear slowdown, the market in the region is becoming livelier. “Since the month of February, a fresh impetus has made itself felt. Buyers are reassured and are taking action. More open to bargaining, the dialogue between the owner and buyers is flowing more smoothly. The decline in interest rates also improves conditions for financing and contributes to projects finally being implemented. Real estate is more than ever a safe haven in the current economic context, still marked by deep instability : bricks and mortar are seen as the soundest investment. Currently, the average price in our agencies for a property of quality is around 1 M € for an apartment, 1.5 M € for a house. Prices which can rise for exceptional houses and large properties to over 4 M €. We recently sold a house of 380 m2 in Arbonne with a pool, pool-house and tennis court for around 4 M €. We also sold a very lovely neo-Basque house of 250 m2 on the Golf du Phare, priced at around 3 M €. Demand for second residences is still strong in the region. French buyers and French ex-pats comprise the majority of our clients.”
