“The area we cover is very wide, and we also work confidentially a great deal, assisting affluent clients in their acquisition projects,” explains Anne François. “The pandemic was a game-changer, bringing new buyer profiles to the region, aged between 30 and 40, and settling here as couples or as a family, and working from home. As for older clients in search of second homes, they are still very present and active. The region is still very attractive, its quality living conditions continue to appeal to a high number of buyers.”

On the subject of the market in this region, the two specialists agree : “It is still as promising, but rather tight. The new law aiming to limit the number of short-term tourist rentals will change the face of real estate significantly, with year-round rentals given precedence, especially for small apartments. Prices which have risen steeply since the Covid crisis are now stabilizing, though properties benefitting from coveted locations still fetch high prices.”
