The Enfants Rouges adventure began in 2010 with the launch of its first agency facing the market of the same name in the 3^rd arrondissement of Paris. It only took its founders a few years to build a reputation for seriousness and develop their federating concept of proximity real estate.

Thanks to this success, Les Enfants Rouges soon took off and opened more agencies, first on the same street, then on Place des Vosges, in Oberkampf and more recently on the Rue du Château d’Eau in the 10^th arrondissement. “Launched at the start of 2020, this new agency soon made contact with its clientele,” explains Philippe Gaudry. “It inaugurates a new conciergerie concept focusing on service and creating connections between professionals in the property sector. After more than a decade on the Parisian market, we are N°1 in the 3^rd arrondissement and our agency on Place des Vosges this year ranked first for sales in the 4th arrondissement.”

The project to move into the Right Bank this autumn pursues the founders’ initial ambition, with an agency entrusted to their favourite designer, Cyril Paillot. “We will be on Rue du Cherche-Midi,” adds Philippe Gaudry. “A street with food stores, lively and out-going, which has all the features that appeal to us, and on which we will stamp our vision of proximity real estate, in keeping with the neighbourhood, but not aiming for super-luxury.”

When asked about changes in the Parisian market, Franck Aprile explains : “The market in the hyper-centre of Paris has become complicated since the pandemic with the absence of foreign clients leading to a rather significant decline in sales. It is clearly no longer a speculative market, the buyer-seller ratio has evened out, and the market feels more reasonable. All this new data has persuaded us to be even more precise with regard to estimates : we have to deliver real expertise to our clients”. And the post-holiday period ? “It should be livelier, we hope that foreign clients will be back. In any event, some London banks are setting up their head offices in Paris...”.
