Since launching his first agency in 2011 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and on the strength of its impressive success, Nicolas Descamps pursued its development by opening two more agencies, one in Biarritz in 2013, the other in Guéthary in 2020.

“Our exclusive affiliation to Christie’s International Real Estate immediately led us to target excellence and position ourselves on prestige properties while proposing high-quality services,” explains Nicolas Descamps. “Our group has three agencies, though only seven members in its team, a deliberate choice to guarantee confidentiality, efficiency and integrity for our clients. And unlike other luxury agencies, we are affiliated but not franchised, we have retained our independence. We mainly cover two markets : the coastal market including Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Biarritz and Guéthary, and we also work with the first rows running from Urrugne to Arcangues. Our proposals range from 1 million to 15 million euros, with a very active 3 to 5 million bracket.”

The market on the Basque coast is relatively small, about 25 kilometres long, with few properties coming onto the market, faced by growing demand. The region’s popularity continues to rise and we are seeing significant migration on the part of buyers who are leaving the south-east and heading for the Atlantic coast, and others who previously invested abroad, now refocusing their attention on France. Due to the pandemic, many city-dwellers also moved here, living in permanent or semi-permanent homes. We have also noticed that there are more sales of properties worth from 5 to 15 million euros : what was once rarissime is becoming more common”.
