"The high end of the real estate market on the Co^te Basque and Landaise has presented more encouraging momentum since the fourth quarter of 2024, despite a complex political, economic and geopolitical context, and restrictions on seasonal rentals," explains Be´ne´dicte Marchal. "We are seeing the onset of a recovery without any flagrant declines in prices, but rather with readjustments. The closeness of the Co^te Basque to Spain and its tourist appeal then continue to draw foreign investors, especially those from other European countries. American clients are making a comeback, with a strong dollar encouraging investment. Buyers are not only looking for properties of quality, but also a pleasant setting.
