Based in Biarritz since 2009 and managed by Julie Lamboley, Ateliers Lofts & Associés is ending the year on a positive note and confirming its ascension. Borne along by the region’s dynamism, the agency is extending its premises and its team, aiming to strengthen its presence from the Basque coast to Les Landes…
Set up in Paris in 1998, Ateliers Lofts & Associés, specializing in lofts, artists’ studios, contemporary properties and houses designed by architects, has run a branch in Biarritz for the past eight years, dedicated to this type of property. Since its creation, its success can be explained by the targetting of assertively modern properties meeting ever-growing demand in the region. Keeping pace with a thriving marketplace, the agency has taken advantage of a great opportunity to grow and triple its premises. “For us, it’s a way of following the trend and underscoring our presence,” explains Julie Lamboley. “A more spacious agency and more members in the team will enable us to develop areas that have been exploited very little up until now, such as the interior of the Basque country and Landes.” Constantly in search of properties in contemporary style, the agency selects houses and apartments which offer a certain distinctiveness : “We do not deal with standard or conventional homes ! Lots of demand, but very few offerings. Prices have risen and are still around 6,000 € per sq. metre, with sellers clearly in an advantageous position. There is very little bargaining.”
