Created in 1972, acquired in 2011 by entrepreneur Michel Pelège, the Groupe Vaneau now has 15 agencies in Paris, agencies in Cannes and Brussels, and is soon to open a branch in Marrakesh. Headed up by Michel Pelège Investissement, the Group has preserved its DNA, that of sales of high-end properties, while developing in parallel a unique array of services offering high added value.


When Michel Pelège acquired Vaneau in 2011, the group only had four agencies, three on the Left Bank and one in the 16th arrondissement. “The

historic agency on Rue Vaneau has remained “as is” for all these years, and is one of the most go-ahead in the group !” says Michel Pelège with a smile. On the subject of the Parisian market, Michel Pelège points out : “The Parisian market is complex but overall it could be summed up as follows : faultless apartments, small or large, find takers very rapidly while those with defects are heavily penalized. As for the future, I think that in the context of inflation, war or recession, real estate seems self-evident as a form of security. I am not aware of any large fortunes which have lasted without investing in property”.
