Founded in Biarritz in 2009 by Pierre Deglaire, DPP Real Estate now has four agencies on the Basque Coast, others in Bordeaux, Paris and Arcachon, and has announced the opening of four more branches for 2017 covering Toulouse, Lyon, Nice and Lille. Visibly undergoing rapid expansion, DPP Real Estate positions itself as a leader on the luxury property market in the Basque country by proposing services with high added value. “We assist our clients in complex financing projects and provide our expertise in legal matters : we also handle management of renovation work and put clients in touch with qualified personnel,” explains Pierre Deglaire. For its portfolio of high-end properties, DDP Real Estate targets the contemporary style : “There are two types of contemporary properties. The first consists of houses offering local architecture, which have been rehabilitated to benefit from modern amenities such as home automation, a movie lounge, gym… This kind of property is of particular interest to foreign clients. The second is comprised of 100% contemporary villas of more modern design with picture windows and well-crafted exteriors, which now account for 60% of construction in the region, and appeal to both French and foreign buyers. These two kinds of properties combined represent the majority of our sales, with prices encompassing a very range, though mainly pegged from 1.5 to several million euros for houses of 300 to 500 m2 in beautiful locations, offering views of the sea and access to the beaches.”
