Remarkable success for Espaces Atypiques

Created in 2008 by Julien Haussy, Espaces Atypiques now has 66 agencies in France with 460 employees, shared out between 56 départements. This flourishing network owes its success to its catalogue of outstanding properties and the introduction of innovative services ensuring maximum convenience for its clients. Encounter with Julien Haussy, Founder and Director of Espaces Atypiques…

When Julien Haussy is asked to define the DNA of Espaces Atypiques, beyond its obvious passion for design and architecture, he replies : “The mission of Espaces Atypiques is to take care of our clientele on a 360° basis by proposing all kinds of unusual styles, all durations, all budgets and all locations”.

Since its foundation, Espaces Atypiques has pursued a real philosophy making real estate an affair of the heart, enabling all buyers to find the home that best resembles them. Success that needs no description when one looks closely at the figures : 45.7 million euros in turnover, 6,000 signed mandates, 410,000 fans on social media, and 40 million pages viewed on its website :

“We have doubled our turnover each year. Our clients, 90 % French, already live in Paris and the provinces, and are looking to treat themselves. They also enjoy the freedom to live wherever they want. With the pandemic and teleworking, this lifestyle has seen extensive development, and real estate is a safe haven more than ever before”. And while the catalogue of properties is the main strength of Espaces Atypiques, its services also make a big difference : “We developed the “Chasse immobilière” service to assist clients who have no time to look for a property.

In 2020, we also introduced a search service proposing over 700 remarkable properties for film shoots and special events. This summer we will introduce seasonal rentals in three highly-prized spots : Deauville, L’Ile de Ré and the island of Oléron. Finally, we have created the Espaces Atypiques Club, accessible to all our exclusive clients. It is a conciergerie service offering all our members an array of trusted partners with enticing advantages and privileges (removal firms, architects, brokers, design brands, but also travel, outings, leisure activities...)”.
