LÉONIE LELIÈVRE, A QUARTER OF A CENTURY

The Agence Léonie Lelièvre has been based for over 25 years in Les Issambres. While its favourite area is the one in which it is located, the agency also covers Saint-Aygulf and Sainte-Maxime.

Towns that Wilma Lelièvre and her husband Marc Celdran know perfectly well. The agency’s strong point is its mastery of Dutch and English.

A bonus for buyers focusing on Les Issambres, mostly looking for second homes. The market offers a wide and varied array of properties, from small “pied à terre” apartments priced around 160,000 € to high-end contemporary villas worth from 3 to 4 million euros.

A sum allowing the client to target a property with five suites, facing the Mediterranean and Saint-Tropez. One can expect to pay from 10,000 to 12,000 € per square metre for this type of property. Most demands fall into the 900,000 to 1.6 million euro price range, corresponding to a lovely Provençal villa from 120 to 200 m2, in need of a revamp, but offering views of the sea.

For the same type of property, Saint-Aygulf is slightly more affordable than Les Issambres, while Sainte-Maxime, active year-round, is more expensive. After seeing a certain pullback in the fourth quarter of 2023, the market seems to be setting off again this spring thanks to lower interest rates.

“In addition to a French clientele that is always present, we are seeing active demand from foreign buyers drawn by real estate in the South of France, now more attractively priced,” says Wilma Lelièvre. “They all appreciate this setting between the immensity of the azure-blue sea and wooded areas, sunshine, nature, and the French art of living.”
