New watches from the SIHH in Geneva

The “Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie” (SIHH) held in Geneva lifted the veil from new models presented by 30 prestige watchmakers. This year, technical prowess and noble materials take priority. Discover these real collectors’ gems with a preview of a few models being presented at the Baselworld fair.



Made from a Pirelli tyre from the car that won a major race in in 2016, the “Excalibur Spider Pirelli - Double Tourbillon Volant” cannot fail to delight fans of fine mechanics. Limited edition of 8 pieces, exclusively available from Roger Dubuis boutiques. 327.000 €.

Assembled by hand, the “Hybris Artistica” with its skeletonized decor benefits from the new Jaeger-LeCoultre 941 calibre. A limited edition of 8 pieces for men.

The new “Panthère” from Cartier boldly blends rose gold and black lacquer for an irresistible graphic effect. 24.000 €.

This “Grande Sonnerie” in titanium has required 11 years of research. Only 5 to 8 pieces of will be made per year. More than 1 M €.

In a limited edition of 75 pieces, the “RM 50-03 McLaren FA” is described as the lightest split-second chronograph in the world (38 g). The constructor of Formula 1 cars participated in its development. About 1 M €.

For the 60th anniversary of the “Altiplano” collection, Piaget has presented several limited editions including this “Tourbillon Haute Joaillerie” beauifully set with diamonds. 210.000 €

The twin-sided “Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication 3600” combines astronomy with the fine art of watchmaking in this composition encased in white gold. The 23 complications give a reading of three different times. The price of this unique engraved piece is not disclosed to the public.

This new offering in yellow gold matches the solar brilliance of the “paillette” pattern (created in gold in the late 1930’s by Van Cleef & Arpels) with the sparkle of diamonds. About 70.000 €.
