Galerie Golconda, a selection of museum quality

From the personal collection of Beryl Cavallini, gemologist and expert on ancient civilizations, the Galerie Golconda proposes over 1,200 pieces of museum quality. A fabulous voyage back in time, to treat oneself to eternity. By Radia Amar

A 16th-C. marble statue of Christ formerly displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, horses from the Ming dynasty, an African Mumuyé mask once owned by Nelson Rockefeller… A wealth of exceptional objects to be admired in the Galerie Golconda, internationally renowned for its seriousness, expertise, and the quality of its acquisitions from all five continents. Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, the Middle East, Far East, Greater Asia, Imperial China, pre-Columbian America, Europe, Primitive Art... All the great civilizations are represented here, in a selection both discerning and esthetically pleasing, built with real passion by Beryl Cavallini. Ornamental or everyday objects are harmoniously exhibited alongside artworks and jewellery, creating palpable emotion as soon as one steps inside the gallery. Each piece, exportable worldwide, has its own identity file, enabling clients to discover the story behind its acquisition, and ensuring a sound investment. The gallery also proposes a line of precious jewellery. Christened “Bijarchéo”, it is comprised of unique pieces derived from small ancient objects (scarabs, Roman coins, sassanide cameos, neolithic arrowheads...), hand-mounted on gold or silver using century-old techniques.
