No V12 on board. Instead, an AMG 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. It benefits from the success of the DB11, from which it has borrowed impressive allure. The “S” then signals a Super Tourer offering unparalleled performance : 700 hp under the hood, delivering a top speed of 325 km/h and 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. Proudly flaunting its unmistakable “S” badge, the DB12 S has also lost 27 kilos on the scales thanks to its carbon ceramic brakes.
It has a lower, more assertive stance, deep-cut channels sculpting the bodywork, a reshaped rear bumper, a new quad exhaust system, and 21” wheel rims. After 75 years of lineage, DB after DB, this new version reinvents the model while retaining its refinement. For the interior, a drive mode rotary in red anodised aluminium, seat belts in the same shade with contrasting stitching. Precious materials and artisanal precision are on the programme. The multi-screen infotainment interface is razor-sharp, ergonomic and ultra-responsive.
