Ferrari Amalfi Spider, the new 2+ spider from Maranello
With its 640 hp twin-turbo V8 engine, the Amalfi Spider offers a perfect balance between performance, elegance, and driving pleasure with your hair blowing in the wind. Very compact, it is already seen as one of the leaders in its class.
The tailormade or technical-fabric top opens in just 13.5 seconds, even at a speed of 60 km/h. The twin-turbo V8 delivers 640 hp, while the “brake-by-wire” system ensures more precise control. Active aerodynamics, a 3-position rear wing, and the integrated wind deflector enhance the open-air driving experience without sacrificing passenger comfort.
The Spider’s silhouette is elegant and flowing, with a choice of four colours in tailormade fabric and 2 in technical fabric, including the new Tecnico Ottanio. Contrast stitching emphasizes the car’s sporting character.
A five-layer fabric ensures soundproofing and heat insulation comparable to that of a retractable hard top. The trunk offers luggage capacity of 255 litres with the roof closed, 172 litres with the roof open. The front of the car stands out for a large air intake and a long, sculpted bonnet. At the rear, an integrated active spoiler contributes to high-speed stability while forged wheels and carbon fibre details complete the model’s sporty, sophisticated aesthetics.
Its interior proposes dual-cockpit architecture with a pronounced cocooning effect for both driver and passenger. Key features include a new steering wheel with physical controls, the return of the famous start button, an integrated central display and controls designed for intuitive interaction, not forgetting the three main displays. The rear seats are suitable for transporting children or increasing the car’s load. The minimalist design is synonymous with modernity and dynamism. And Ferrari has introduced a new colour : the exclusive Rosso Tramonto with its subtle orange reflections, inspired by nuances along the Amalfi coast at dusk.
