Ferrari 812 GTS

The world’s most powerful convertible ! In 2019 and 2020, the brand with the Prancing Horse has lost count of its new offerings. After the F8 Tributo, SF90 Stradale and F8 Spider, the convertible version of the 812 has seen the light of day. Summer’s here, it’s time to take the top off…

While one’s gaze is drawn to the front of the car, the rear headlights are compelling for their characteristic roundness. Redesigned for enhanced aerodynamics, the line of the 812 GTS draws inspiration from the 365 GTB4 of 1968 - except for its stern, reinterpreted for the occasion. The hard-top roof, designed to comply with the Targa tradition, opens and closes in just 14 seconds, with the car running at a speed up to 45 km/h. The coupe’s 320-litre trunk shrinks to 250 litres in the convertible. On board, the essential, vociferous 6.5-litre V12, torque of 718 Nm, double clutch 7-speed automatic transmission, and 800 hp under the hood. The 812 GTS is Ferrari’s first convertible with a V12 to be proposed as standard for the past five decades. Its top speed exceeds 340 km/h, with 0-100 km/h attained in less than 3 seconds despite 1,600 kg on the scales, ie. 75 kg heavier than the coupe. Ferrari Peak Performance provides real driver assistance, revealing the adhesion limit around curves. In terms of sound, it is a real ode to mechanics. Like the coupe, the GTS comes with a multifunction steering wheel. The price of this elegant, luxurious convertible is 330,000 €, a price to be paid to experience performance with your hair blowing in the wind.
