Ferrari 296 GTB

A real revolution for the brand with the Prancing Horse, the 296 GTB introduces the new 120° V6 engine coupled with a plug-in electric motor, capable of delivering up to 830 hp in all. And certainly meeting fans’ desires for fun and performance.

The 120° structure of the 6-cylinder turbo engine increases its compactness, lowers its centre of gravity and reduces its mass. The model’s high-power performance in fact relies on this perfect optimization of volumes with fine-tuned reconciliation between technology and esthetics. The 296 GTB is remarkably flexible, offering highly efficient braking and rare driving enjoyment. The rear of the car is a clear departure from Ferrari coupés, with no continuity between roof and hood, typical of Spiders. The wing overlaps the roof and is prolonged by two side wings. A very streamlined silhouette, elegant simplicity recalling La Roma. In 100% electric mode, the 296 GTB attains 135 km/h. In hybrid mode, the combustion engine is only called upon if high performance is required by the driver. The car then flirts with 330 km/h at top speed and chalks up 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds. The interior evolves around the digital interface initiated by the SF90 Stradale without, however, renouncing refinement in design. The exhaust system enables acceleration to approach the sound level of a V12. The happy few will be able to opt for this high-performance berlinetta by parting with 269,000 €. n
