In late March, the site known as “Les Carrières du Val d’Enfer” reopened its doors and has since been projecting images on its walls in an event entitled “Carrières de Lumières”. This year, the show consists of paintings by two artists known as masters of colour : Gauguin and Van Gogh. While the video-projectors adorn the walls with their works, speakers play music adding an extra dimension to the already extraordinary atmosphere experienced by the visitor. This installation is an opportunity to show the many similarities between the paths taken by the two artists. Until January 6th, Carrières du Val d’Enfer, Les Baux-de-Provence (04 90 54 55 56).
