From the Jean Ferrero collection, almost 150 works produced by César from 1960 to 1997 are on show in the salons of the Villa Domergue. Assembled and inscribed, torn or presented as collages, they came into being in the privacy of a studio which had been improvised in the home of art-dealer and collector Jean Ferrero, in Nice. The Villa's gardens play host to an exhibit entitled "La Sculpture en liberté", a tribute paid to César by artists including Arman and Erick Ifergan. Until September 27th. Villa Domergue, Cannes.
