On the banks of the Naviglio Grande, in the heart of the Ticino Park and within the municipality of Robecchetto con Induno, stands "La Padregnana". This captivating prestigious residence, founded as a monastery in 1485 by the Fruttuariensi monks, is situated directly across from the historic Bridge of Leonardo da Vinci. Legend has it that the Renaissance Genius himself stayed in this dwelling, which today masterfully blends its historic aura with the most refined modern comfort.
Strategic Location
The property enjoys privileged seclusion while benefiting from excellent connections: it is located just 10 minutes from Malpensa Airport and 15 minutes from the center of Milan, thanks to its proximity to the highway connecting the major Milan-Varese and Milan-Turin routes.
The Property and Spaces
Registered as A/8 (luxury villa), the structure is divided into three large independent apartments overlooking scenic shared terraces and porticos. A habitable annex of approximately 200 sqm completes the property, making it an ideal solution for a luxurious private residence or an income-generating property (such as an event venue or a charming B&B).
Premium Details and Features
The renovation has preserved the authentic soul of the complex by reclaiming original materials:
Historic Finishes: Antique Tuscan terracotta floors, stone fireplaces dating back to the 16th-17th centuries, Roman columns and the original doors and gateways crafted by the monks.
Art: A magnificent 18th-century fresco, restored in 1999 by painters from the Brera Academy, adorns the north-west side.
Outdoor Spaces: A 1,000 sqm garden surrounds the villa, enriched by an additional 500 sqm orchard that extends directly onto the Naviglio towpath.
Technology and Security: Maximum safety with a triple alarm system (perimeter, volumetric and video surveillance) and a high-efficiency hybrid heating system (methane/pellet).
A timeless residence, where the history of the Duchy of Milan meets the elegance of contemporary management and a unique investment opportunity.
