The Torre Dammacco (formerly De Liguori) represents an important example of rural architecture linked to the noble history of the Ostuni countryside. It is a typical defensive architecture, built between the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century during the agricultural expansion period of the noble families in the area.
The tower was born as a fortified structure with the function of controlling a vast estate. It features a massive quadrangular structure, designed both to defend against bandits and to monitor work in the fields.
