Brugnato is a small town in the Liguria region of northern Italy, about 20 km from the coast. Ancient country estate in Brugnato, Cinque Terre - Liguria
Situated in the charming Val di Vara, a few kilometers from the Cinque Terre and the Golfo dei Poeti (Gulf of the Poets) in La Spezia, the property, surrounded by a plot of about 10 hectares, consists of the main villa with an area of about 700m2 and other buildings.
The villa, built in the 1920s by the grandfather of the current owners, who returned to Brugnato from Argentina, extends over three floors with an area of about 625m2, plus the attic, connected by an elegant marble staircase with wrought iron banisters.
The house is in an excellent state of conservation, fully furnished with contemporary furniture and has all the features of the stately residences of that period: Pebble tiles with ornate patterns, antique parquet floors in the sleeping area, original interior and exterior doors and windows of the period, friezes and picturesque decorations on the walls and ceilings.
On the first floor there is the majestic entrance hall dominated by the grand marble staircase, two large rooms and additional utility rooms.
On the second floor, a long central corridor leads to the living area: a large living room with balcony, a dining room with fireplace, a large kitchen with adjoining pantry connected to the large outdoor terrace with green pergola and barbecue area, an ideal place for outdoor meals. On this level there is also a bedroom with double bed, a room currently used as a study and a bathroom.
On the second floor there is the sleeping area with 4 bedrooms overlooking the garden, an area for ironing (can be converted into an additional bedroom), two bathrooms, a large terrace and an area for staff with an additional bedroom.
A staircase leads to the attic, which is used for storage, but can be partially used due to its average height.
