This extraordinary property dates back to the 13th century and today presents itself as a fully preserved borgo with Tuscan character. Three of the historic buildings were carefully renovated in 2010 and now house a total of 14 charming apartments in the typical style of the region – with terracotta floors, wooden beam ceilings, and an authentic ambience. A fourth building is still awaiting renovation and offers additional design possibilities, such as further residential units, event rooms, or private use.
The borgo is nestled in approximately 10 hectares of land consisting of flat parkland, meadows, and wooded areas. The extensive grounds include not only outdoor areas, but also historic vaulted cellars and underground rooms that have been converted into an elegant spa area. A swimming pool and tennis court are also available for leisure and relaxation – perfect for guests, private use, or exclusive events.
The property has not been used for about two years, but is in good condition and offers enormous potential for revitalization. As it is not an agriturismo, there are many possible uses: as a vacation residence, rental property, event location, retreat, or private residence.
A particular highlight is its location directly on the Bardine River, which features a romantic waterfall and natural swimming spots. A private bridge crosses the river, connecting the property with the surrounding natural areas. The flat park is ideal for walking, playing, or creating relaxation areas and gardens.
This property combines history, nature, and space for visions—a rare ensemble with character and inexhaustible potential.
