Rarity: Organic winery on the Amalfi Coast - Campania
In the hills of Maiori, with breathtaking views of the sea, an organic farm extends over a total of 20 hectares of land. This estate includes 6 hectares of vineyards, 2 hectares of olive groves, 2 hectares of lemon groves and another 10 hectares of land partly used for fruit and honey production. The terraces, characteristic of the Amalfi Coast, divide the land into different levels, cleverly connected to each other in order to exploit the full agricultural potential of the land.
Along the property there are various stone and masonry buildings (total 464m2), most of which are in need of restoration and renovation. These could serve as a starting point for the development of a hospitable activity on the property, be it agrotourism or rural tourism. The wine cellar, located in the upper region of the property and has 150m2 of space, houses the premises for processing and ripening the grapes of the farm.
Currently the property is run as a farm producing wine, olive oil, jams, lemons and liqueurs. Restoration of the buildings on the hillside would offer the possibility of converting them into small apartments that could be rented to the numerous tourists and vacationers who come to the Amalfi Coast every year. This would provide the farm with an additional source of income.
In addition, the farming activities could serve as an educational path for visitors to learn about the unique farming system in this region and the production processes of wine, olive oil, jam and liqueur.
From the farm you can quickly reach the center of the village, where all necessary services are available, as well as the main roads to major cities such as Amalfi, Positano, Salerno and Naples.
