Agence Immobilière Duboscq

At the heart of the town of Arcachon, a prime location in immediate proximity to the Bassin, the Agence Immobilière Duboscq opened in 2016 by Jean Duboscq is a structure with a small, highly motivated team. Giving priority to attentiveness to clients’ needs and tailormade service, the agency has built itself a solid reputation in just two years.

Known as the “Pearl of the Atlantic”, the Bassin d’Arcachon is chalking up growing success and appeal that extends will beyond the borders of France. It attracts a diverse clientele comprised of company directors, movie stars, sportsmen and foreigners, who all appreciate its high-quality living conditions. Right in the hyper-centre, the Agence Immobilière Duboscq offers its clients an array of properties including enviable apartments and high-end houses. “Arcachon is our target area, though we also propose properties in Pyla-sur-Mer, La Teste-de-Buch, Gujan-Mestras and Bordeaux,” explains Jean Duboscq. “The region draws a well-off clientele, both French and foreign, in search of holiday residences, and retirees wanting to live here year-round. The market is tight, with soaring demand and a scarcity of quality apartments, especially those with 4 or 5 main rooms. Which implies for us intensive searches to meet our clients’ requirements. In Arcachon, demand focuses on properties close to the sea and beaches, as location here, perhaps more than elsewhere, is of prime importance. Together with the almost obligatory criteria of an outdoor parking place or lock-up garage, worth their weight in gold, ie. from 30,000 to 45,000 €. We recently sold a front-row apartment of 95 m2 with a terrace on the beach of Eyrac, priced at 995,000 €.” Highly-prized houses and apartments benefiting from prime locations facing the sea post prices which have seen a substantial rise over the past few months. “In this highly sought-after sector, prices range from 10,000 to 12,000 € per sq.m, and more for outstanding properties,” says Jean Dubosq. “In the town centre, they range on average from 6,500 to 8,500 € per sq.m.”
